NASA Kids Proposal (December 2021)

Blink will design, test, and document a new, modern user experience for a consistent NASA Kid’s User Experience. This will result in a new design language, UX guidelines and UI Library as a section of the Horizon Design System for use agency wide. NASA Kids should be tested twice a year for usability, usefulness and accessibility. Updates will be maintained in the Horizon Design System.

The new NASA Kid’s design language should relate to the new Horizon Design System wherever appropriate, but be optimized for the audience. There are additional requirements like COPPA, scoped search, and a custom navigation system that doesn’t compete with the global navigation.
